Job description

We are looking for a number of Laundry Assistants to work with our on-site laundry teams at Auckland City Hospital & Middlemore Hospital.

This is a temporary position but as the opportunity for long term and with over time hours. These are all full time position, to start immediately.

We work on a rotating shift, so you work 4 days (10 hour days), and then have 4 days off. As its a rotating shift, you will be required to work weekends when your shift falls on a weekend.

We have 2 shifts across 7 days a week:
5am - 1.30pm
2pm - 10.30pm

The role includes: Delivering laundry to wards and hospital buildings, unpacking and sorting laundry, loading trolleys. These can be: towels, sheets, pillow cases, blankets etc. Full PPE is provided on site.

This is a starting rate of $17.70, but will go up from 1st April to $18.90.
There is limited parking available on site. Sites are close to most bus routes, but local commuters would be preferred.

You will need to have a work visa/permit in place for New Zealand and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
