A high level manufacturing & production facility for bespoke product supplied across New Zealand this transformational company is looking for a Production leader / assembly manager to level up their team, this role is progressional and will continue on a growth pathway. You will need to come with lean manufacturing experience as well as previous experience in a fast paced fabrication based environment. You will need a strong practical understanding of all fabrication principles.

Your duties will include:

* Plan, coordination and forecast production requirements
* Have a strong focus on continuous improvement
* Training, ups killing, resourcing and planning all production staff.
* Working in partnership with purchasing, warehousing and sales teams to ensure correct forecasting and stock holdings
* Ensuring quality procedures and KPI's are aheard to.
* Implementation of processes important and new SOPS where requited
* Managerial input into cross functional processes - be creative!
* Hands on with machinery / power tools when necessary - technical nous a must
* Having a laugh and LOVING what you do in a company who really VALUES your input

About you:

You will have a minimum for 5 years production experience, with a preference to a couple of years in leadership. You will be a switched on candidate whom is always focused on continuous improvement and challenging the norm. You are a people focused leader with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

You will be great at building internal and external relationships, enjoy a laugh and have an excellent work ethic.
