An excellent position has become available with our client, a market leader in the food production industry. This opportunity is extremely rare & will allow you to utilize and advance your current skills and expertise while being treated as an integral part of the maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Fitter your main duties involve regular maintenance and servicing of machinery, routine checks, repairing breakdowns as they occur as well as general workshop duties. You will receive on-going training and support from an experienced and established team who pride themselves on delivering high standards of work quality. Dedication to the work at hand as well as the ability to be a focused and driven individual are paramount.

This role entails working up to 30 hours a week and will include some weekend work. This is initially a temporary position, however there may be permanent opportunities available for the right person.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:

  • Trade Qualification (preferred, not essential) and relevant experience
  • Reliable transport to and from work
  • Strong background in maintenance
  • A strong work ethic and the willingness to work as a team
  • Provide a minimum of two work related referees
