Temporary Accounts Payable Officer

This centrally based well established firm is looking for an experienced and adaptable Accounts Ppayable Officer to be a part of their close-knit team on a temporary basis. You will be working with the aim of managing the accounting processes and supporting the team.

In this role, your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the high volume of invoices that come through daily
  • Tracking and monitoring payments
  • Accounts receivable management
  • Bank reconciliation End to End
  • Accounts Payable duties
  • Following up on outstanding accounts
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Office Administrative experience would be desirable
  • Calculation and preparation of month end journals
  • Delivery of exceptional financial and administrative services

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record of technical accounts payable experience
  • Ability to keep up with a high volume of invoices,
  • Keep up with a fast-paced work environment
  • Record of meeting deadlines
  • Experience with paying out subcontractors
  • High accuracy and superb attention to detail
  • Organised and methodical
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be flexible, yet focused
  • Work priorities and demands
  • Proficiency using Xero or MYOB
